Training on Linux Operating System

In a move to enhance the technological proficiency of its library staff, a training session on the Linux Operating System was conducted on 04^th December 2023. The session was led by Mr. N. Hettiarachchi, the Librarian at the University of Ruhuna, and was aimed at equipping senior staff and selected Library IT Team members with essential skills for handling the library management system using the Linux OS. During the training, participants were introduced to common Linux commands, providing them with a solid foundation to efficiently carry out tasks and operations within the Linux environment.
