Workshop on "Pricing the Unpriced Library Materials"

The Library of the University of Colombo organized a workshop on “Pricing the Unpriced Library Materials” on 23rd June 2023 at the Main Library Auditorium. Ms. Anuradha Dassanayake, Assistant Director, Acquisitions Division of the National Library, Sri Lanka, was the resource person. The workshop enlightened the participants on how unpriced library materials, especially donated resources, could be priced based on guidelines and manuals created by the National Library of Sri Lanka. Senior Assistant Librarians, Assistant Librarians, Assistant Registrar, and Library Information Assistants participated in the event.
