Staff Motivational Session

A Staff Motivational Session was successfully held on 14th October 2025 at the Library Auditorium. The programme was designed for the staff members of the Main Library and the branch libraries to enhance motivation and teamwork.

The session was conducted by Professor M. T. M. Mahees attached to the Department of Sociology, University of Colombo, who served as the Resource Person. The event drew the participation of almost all library staff members and was organised under the Non-Academic Staff Development domain of the library. It was coordinated by Ms. S M Adhikari, Senior Assistant Librarian (Reader Services). The session was highly inspiring and productive, providing valuable insights into workplace motivation and personal development. Participants expressed their appreciation for the engaging and thought-provoking presentation.
