University of Colombo Library Celebrates International Women's Day with Special Book Exhibition

In honor of International Women’s Day on March 8th, the University of Colombo Library hosted a special event, to celebrate the achievements and contributions of women worldwide. The library organized a captivating book exhibition that featured works on famous women, research related to women, and fiction highlighting female experiences. The exhibition was set up on the first floor of the main library, where students from the University of Colombo actively participated and explored the collection.

The library’s celebration highlighted the importance of supporting and empowering women everywhere, acknowledging their invaluable role in shaping societies.
