Webinar on Uploading Documents to the Institutional Repository (IR) of the University of Colombo

A webinar on uploading documents to the Institutional Repository (IR) of the University of Colombo was held on 10th September 2025 via Zoom, with the participation of 83 staff members from across the University.

The session was conducted by Mr. Buddhin Kumara, Senior Assistant Librarian, University of Moratuwa, who introduced the new IR interface and demonstrated its key features for efficient document uploading. The webinar aimed to familiarise staff with the updated platform and to ensure the smooth submission of scholarly and administrative documents.

This initiative is expected to enhance the visibility and accessibility of the University’s intellectual output, while also promoting effective knowledge management across faculties and departments.
