On January 31, 2024, Senior Professor (Chair) Premakumara De Silva, Department of Sociology, University of Colombo, presented the “Vageeshvarâbhinandana: Ven. Migettuwatte Sri Gunananda Thera Bicentennial Commemorative Volume (1823-2023)” (වාගීශ්වරාභිනන්දන මිගෙට්ටුවත්තේ ශ්‍රී ගුණානන්ද නා හිමි ද්විශතාබ්දානුස්මරණ ශාස්ත්‍රීය සංග්‍රහය 1823 – 2023) to Dr. D.C. Kuruppu, the Acting Librarian of the University of Colombo. Professor Premakumara served as one of the distinguished editors on the editorial panel of this publication.
