Training Session on Electronic Resources Available at the University of Colombo Library

A training session on “Electronic Resources (E-resources) Available at the University of Colombo Library” was held on April 24, 2025, at the Smart Classroom of the Main Library, University of Colombo. The session was conducted by Mrs. Gayani Perera, Senior Assistant Librarian in the Periodicals Division of the Main Library.

A total of 31 Library Information Assistants, 7 Attendants and Work-aides participated in the on-site training. The session aimed to raise awareness and enhance understanding of the wide range of e-resources available through the library. Participants were guided on the diverse e-resources of the library while providing hands-on training on how to effectively search and access scholarly information using them. The training highlighted the significance of these e-resources in assisting students with their daily information requirements.

This training was organised by the Coordinator of Training and Skill Development at the University of Colombo Library.
