Her Excellency Ms. Miyon Lee, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Sri Lanka, Visits the Science Library

On 22nd August 2025, Her Excellency Ms. Miyon Lee, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Sri Lanka, visited the Science Faculty Library during her official visit to the Faculty of Science, University of Colombo. The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Colombo, Professor Indika Mahesh Karunathilake, and the Dean of the Faculty of Science, Professor Upul Sonnadara, joined the delegation.

Deputy Librarian of the University of Colombo, Mrs. Sajeewanie Somaratna, warmly welcomed the Ambassador and her team, showcasing the state-of-the-art facilities of the Science Library, which is recognised as a contemporary academic library within the Sri Lankan university system. This visit was both historic and significant, marking an important milestone in the Science Library’s journey.
