Training Session on Institutional Repository (IR) Configuration

A training session on Institutional Repository (IR) Configuration was held on 11th September 2025 at the Smart Classroom, Main Library, University of Colombo.

The resource person, Mr. Buddhin Kumara, Senior Assistant Librarian, University of Moratuwa, conducted the workshop, introducing new features and guiding participants through the practical aspects of configuring the University of Colombo’s Institutional Repository.

The session was specially designed for the library staff of the University of Colombo, with 18 participants actively engaging in discussions and hands-on activities. The workshop provided valuable insights into managing and strengthening the IR, which plays a vital role in preserving and disseminating the University’s scholarly output.
